I love Chris’ grandma’s fig preserves!

I had a sweet tooth the other day, and no junk food to take care of it! So I took out Chris’ grandma’s fig preserves and made myself a classic- a jelly sandwich. OMG, it was so good! Haha.

Tomi (Charlotte, NC)

We went out for Chinese to celebrate my dad’s birthday this weekend. We went to Tomi, which has always been good, but we had forgotten about. It was yummy!

Finally- Seafood!

We went to Myrtle Beach, SC this weekend. I love going down there because, aside from enjoying time away from home with friends and family, Chris’ parents always know where to go get great seafood. I had been craving crab legs, so we went and got some at Nance’s, and they were soooooooo good! I didn’t even use any butter and hardly any lemon. They were perfect just by themselves. ๐Ÿ™‚

Another Aldi DInner

Aldi had these two packs of pre-made pizza crusts priced super cheap, so we decided to try them. They weren’t too bad at all. We made it with barbecue sauce, mozzarella, and chicken. Baked for 8 minutes, and voilร . That was the quickest, cleanest, easiest pizza ever. I should have put some onions on it.. and maybe used cheddar, but it was pretty good!

Saturday morning

We slept in (9:00AM counts as sleeping in, right?) for the first Saturday in a long, long time. I made coffee and a cheesy spinach egg scramble. Tasty!

Pho

I love pho, and always want it when I’m sick or when the weather is cold. But I like it in the summer, too. ย ๐Ÿ™‚ We tried a new Vietnamese place this weekend. The pho was not bad, but I have other places I definietly prefer. I will definitely come back to try their vermicelli dishes, though. They looked good!!
